Barts Guild relies on a host of volunteers to achieve its aims of supporting Barts hospital, its patients and staff. Whether this is working in the shop or taking the trolley around the wards, or working behind the scenes as an administrator or on the management committee. As a way of thank-you, the Guild host’s an annual Volunteers’ Christmas party. This year, it was held in the Lord Raglan pub, near the hospital. It was a jolly affair, with plenty of food, drink and laughs. Some special Barts Guild cupcakes also made an appearance!
