Once again, volunteers and friends of Barts Guild took to the streets as part of the prestigous Lord Mayor’s Show. The Guild is proud to maintain a place in the parade, amongst a large variety of other organisations ranging from military bands, livery companies, national charities and even some plumbers! It’s always rewarding to hear the support for the hospital with cries of ‘Barts!’ ringing out around the City. Fortunately, the weather was kind this year, with the rain holding off until the walkers were safely back under cover!

Thanks to Wendy Mead for taking the organisational lead this year, with help from Sue Gilbert and Harris Nageswaran. This was in the absence of LMS-regulars Jenny Jeyarajah (recovering from surgery) and Niamh Whelan (currently working for a charity hospital in Laos).
