The NHS recently celebrated its 70th Birthday. As such, celebrations were held all over the country, including at Barts Hospital.

On 5th July, staff, volunteers, patients and friends took to the square to celebrate. Barts Guild were proud to support the event in providing free ice creams. Given the scorching temperatures on the day, this proved a popular grant with the queue extending across the square!

A big well done to all those who continue to do such great work; here’s to the next 70 years!
